What can go in your pickup?
Start with the items you want removed. Ordinary household junk, renovation material and special-handling waste are not interchangeable, so disclose the full load before booking.
Tell us about your items. Ask about pickup availability.
Furniture and household belongings
Sofas, chairs, tables, mattresses, shelves, boxes and other unwanted contents can be discussed as a single pickup or part of a larger cleanout. Mention unusually heavy items and anything with powered or reclining parts.
Appliances
List the appliance type and where it is located. Plumbing, gas and hardwired electrical connections must be made safe before hauling. Empty and defrost refrigeration equipment; disclose leaks or damage.
Outdoor and renovation material
Describe cut brush, bagged yard material, lumber, cabinets and already-removed flooring separately. Soil, concrete, brick, large logs, roofing and other dense material need specific review for weight and disposal.
Items to flag before booking
Pianos, hot tubs, sheds, oversized machinery and heavy equipment require an individual assessment. Acceptance depends on the item, available access and the work involved.
Keep hazardous and unknown material separate
Do not mix paint, fuel, solvents, pesticides, propane, chemicals, medical sharps, suspect asbestos or contaminated material into general junk. Ask your municipal program or an appropriate specialist about the correct disposal route. Electronics and batteries also need separate review.
